Basic Help Instructions
Thank you for visiting Tree of Life Bible Church Web site. The layout chosen
for the Tree of Life Bible Church's Web site is a 5 pane design, that includes:
- a header, the top-most portion of each screen
- a footer, the bottom-most portion of each screen
- a left pane, the left-most portion of each screen
- a right, the right-most portion of each screen
- a center pane, the middle portion of each screen
The Header Pane
The header portion of each screen includes the current time and date information.
From this page, point your mouse to the navigation bar to select:
- Home, a link back to the home page
- What's New, regularly updated page of the newest features
- Index, a site map
- Search, to comprehensively search all Web site content
- Login, for past or present Church members
- Help, this Help page.
The Footer Pane
The footer portion of each screen provides copyright information, as well as
the church's physical and mailing addresses. Also, the footer provides buttons
to print pages, to go back or forward, and to go to the top of the page, as well
as links to knowing Jesus Christ, the church's privacy policy, contact information, and
downloadable resources (training information, software resources, classical texts,
and more).
The Left Pane
The left pane portion of each screen provides dictionary definitions and spellings
(supported by Merriam-Webster, Incorporated) and Bible scripture search capabilities
(powered by BibleGateway.com). There are also links to other major branches of content
including Finance, Health, and Career. There are also links for contact information,
times and services information, and directions.
The Right Pane
The right pane portion of each screen provides a calendar highlighting the current
day's date. There is the day's current weather information or a scripture of
the day (powered by BibleGateway.com). Also, there are QuickFinder links to access the
Web site's index (site map) and all Web site documents listed in alphabetical order.
