Elder
G. Eden Harrison was born Grant Eden Harrison on June 7, 1962 to the Mrs. Gabrielle Cyrus Harrison and Mr. George Sumpter Harrison, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where at the
age of twelve, he gave his life to Christ at Camp Allegheny, a Salvation Army Summer Youth Camp. Elder Harrison started his education while
living in Pittsburgh. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1980. Later, he
received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
As a young man, Elder Harrison moved to Reston, Virginia after completing college,
where he met and married Minnie Lee Smith of Frankford, Delaware in 1990. Out of this union came
two children, Christa Eliana Harrison and Danielle Eliora Harrison. As a servant unto the
Lord, Elder Harrison was ordained as a Deacon under the leadership
of the Elder James A. Vanison, Sr., who is the founding Pastor of
Tree of Life Bible Church of Centreville,
Virginia.
While attending Tree of Life Bible Church, the ministry grew so large that a new church
building was needed. Therefore, Elder Harrison worked with his wife, Minnie, as well as others in the church in the purchase
of the multi-million dollar church building located at 13924 Braddock Road in Centreville,
Virginia, where church services for Tree of Life Bible Church are currently held. Shortly thereafter,
in 1999, Elder Harrison graduated with his Master's Degree from American
University. In 2001, after battling several bouts of breast cancer, Elder Harrison's wife, Minnie, went home to be with
the Lord. Prayerfully Elder Harrison continued serving the Lord and in 2002, he was ordained
as a Minister under the leadership of the Elder James A. Vanison, Sr., Pastor of Tree of Life Bible Church.
Elder Harrison has been preaching regularly at Tree of Life Bible Church for many years. In 2004,
Elder Harrison met and married Dr. Bonita Louise Jude of Silver Spring, Maryland. As servants,
Elder Harrison and his wife, Bonita, have traveled to Ghana, West Africa, Jamaica, and Uganda, East Africa to preach God's Word, to teach
God's Purpose, and to care for the medical needs of God's people. He has undying belief in the power of prayer in
Christ Jesus, the completeness of Almighty God in miraculously providing and protecting, and, as a result,
loves living a fear-free life in the Holy Spirit! "God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind!"
