At its core, Tree of Life Bible Church promotes Bible reading. Tree of Life Bible Church encourages
its members to bring their Bibles to church with them and to know how to properly use their Bible in a
way that increases their understanding of God's Word.
With that in mind, one important tool that is used to increase sound Bible knowledge is the American Bible Society's
Daily Bible Reading list. This listing is not an attempt at having the reader read the entire Bible in one-, two-, or
even five-years. But rather, it is a topical listing of scriptures (ranging from a few verses to one chapter
of a book of the Bible).
We are instructed by God's Word in 2 Timothy 2:18 to "Study to show thyself approved of God, rightly diving the Word
truth". Studying God's Word involves more than just briefly scanning or reading as some might read the daily
newspaper, but rather spending time in sincere and focused study of God's Word. The goal is to keep up with your daily Bible reading each day so that your spiritual
knowledge of God's Word will continue to grow!
