Currently Conducting an In-Depth Study of God's Purpose for Our Lives
Thank you for showing interest in our Wednesday Evening Bible Study! This service is for those who enjoy reading more of God's Word than only what is offered on Sunday's services and who enjoy learning more life lessons with other excited, on-fire Saints of God! The atmosphere for the Wednesday Evening Bible Study is more casual and relaxed than Sunday services. Many arrive in comfortable clothes and some even arrive directly from work, so do feel welcomed and free to come and join us.
The Wednesday Evening Bible Study offers a varying venue. In past years, our Pastor, Reverend James A. Vanison, Sr., has taught from the pulpit many, many foundational life lessons from "How to Be A Good Stewards with God's Blessings", to "How-to Diligently Study the Bible", to "Understanding the Holy Spirit"!
In 2002, the Wednesday Evening Bible Study was changed in three dynamic areas: 1) the layout of the venue, 2) the leadership, and the 3) topic! To better address the desires of the attendees for an more interactive Bible Study, the Wednesday Evening Bible Study has been redesigned with more of a round-table discussion allow more input by those who attend -- this is an exciting change for all those who regularly attend! Also, the Pastor has opened up the leadership of the Wednesday Evening Bible Study to now be led by the Assistant Pastor, to provide additional insights. Likewise, the lessons taught during this time have also changed. In 2002, a verse by verse in-depth study of the book of Revelation commenced. This has turned out to be one of our most popular studies! When the class is offered again, please do plan on attending!
We have since finished our studies in the book of Revelation, and now the Wednesday Evening Bible Study is currently conducting an in-depth study of God's purpose for our lives! This series studies chapter-by-chapter the 40 chapters of Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven Life" book! Tree of Life Bible Church supports the teaching and reading of many godly books, including: Terry Nance's "Armor Bearer", and "God's Armor Bearer Book II:".
